The original uses a single Gargantoon appearance as a bonus symbol; Reactoonz 2 makes the Gargantoon a central mechanic that shrinks across three steps, each step placing additional wilds on the 7×7 grid.

Five or more matching symbols touching horizontally or vertically form a cluster that pays. Matched symbols disappear and new ones drop in from above, potentially creating follow-up clusters in the same spin.

The Fluctometer fills four charge meters in sequence. The first meter triggers Implosion, which destroys low-value symbols. The order then follows Alteration, Demolition, and finally Energoon — Implosion fires most frequently.
